The RFC National Office is privileged to serve Roman Catholic institutes of women and men religious with programs and services for those in the ministry of initial and life-long formation.
Membership in RFC is by congregation or institute and based on the calendar year. All members or associates of that congregation or institute qualify for RFC program fees and for access to the members-only site area.

Congress 2009
Congress 2009: "Called to the Mountain: Blessing and Hope" takes place in
Denver, CO November 12-15. Keynote speakers are Donna Markham, OP and Gary
Riebe-Estrella, SVD. The congress promises to be an experience of blessing
and hope as we look to how we, called by God's prophetic Spirit, will choose
and shape a preferred future for religious life as a prophetic enterprise in

ForMission
This program is for women and men currently accompanying new members of their religious congregations at any stage of initial formation. The program is composed of 4 intensive residential sessions over a two year period and is hosted at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, IL, Oblate School of Theology, San Antonio, Texas and Holy Trinity Retreat Center, Baltimore, MD. Most of the program presenters are drawn from theological schools, are first rate in their respective disciplines, and lecture nationally and internationally.
This summer's session is scheduled for June 9-17 at Catholic Theological Union and the theme is: "Right Relationships: What does the vow of celibacy mean today?" New applicants are invited to enter the January or June sessions and complete the program in the following three sessions.
The RELIGIOUS FORMATION CONFERENCE, which originated in the 1950's as the Sister Formation Conference, is a national Roman Catholic organization serving women’s and men’s religious institutes, primarily in the United States and in other countries. RFC service is directed especially toward those:
• in the ministry of incorporation/formation in their congregations
• presently engaged in the process of incorporation/formation in congregations
• within all member congregations (ongoing formation).
