A new "pdf" document, "A Short Guide for Religious Visa Applicants And Their Religious Institutes" is now posted here. This guide is designed to assist religious visa applicants and their sponsoring religious organizations to know and understand key requirements of
commonly used nonimmigrant visa categories (tourist, student, and religious worker) and issues that may lead to denial of the desired visa. The Guide represents the joint efforts of the Society of the Divine Word; USCCB, Office of General Counsel; CLINIC, Division of Religious Immigration Services; and Scott D. Pollock and Associates, PC. Our thanks to CLINIC and Margaret Perron RJM for

Increasingly
RFC will make available documents of general interest in a way
that will allow them to look and be printed in their
original form. That method is to make them into
"pdf" (portable document format) files. PDF files
require a PDF Reader to view them, a free and simple program
which we will show you how to obtain. The bulletin, TransFormation,
is one of the first resources to be provided in PDF format.

Each member institute got one copy of the new Resource
Manual, Vol. I, when it was published, free as a benefit of membership. But if you want to order additional copies, just go to the Resource Manual page. Resource Manual, Volume II,
was also mailed to the primary representative of each member congregation.
The Table of Contents has been posted on the Resource Manual Page.Resource Manual, Volume III has also been mailed. And Volume IV is in process - hopefully to be circulated after Jan. 2, 2008 to those congregations on the 2007 membership list. The volume is sent to the person named as primary representative.
