Living Vows:
Renewing the Face of our
Earth
On September 16, 2000,
Alexandra Kovats CSJP gave a presentation in Adrian MI as a regional
workshop for the Religious Formation Conference. Her “prayshop”
as she termed it, explored the language and practice of the
evangelical vows of poverty, chastity and obedience from an
evolutionary, cosmic perspective. Special attention was given to
reshaping the language of the vows to include some of the cosmic
principles in order to re-vision the understanding and living of the
vowed life toward the future. The tapes of that presentation are now
available. Six hours on two tapes.
