Economy of Living: Reflections on the Vow of Poverty
We Are the Change: With this summer session at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, July 5-11, the Religious Formation Conference initiates the
second three-year cycle of this popular program on contemporary understandings of the vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience in the context of religious life in the world of the 21st century. The program is open to vowed women and men religious who desire to participate in a cross-generational corporate learning community. The program is a concrete expression of the RFC’s commitment to life-long transformational learning. Rooted deeply in our tradition, WATC blesses the reality we live today and looks to the future with hope.

Participants reside on site. Exceptions are considered on an individual basis.
Deadline for applications for the 2010 session is May 1, 2010
and applicants are notified of acceptance by May 16, 2010
Costs for the 2010 session (room, board, tuition for program): $1475 per person, for RFC members. ($2075 for non- RFC members)
A $100 deposit is submitted with the application and applied to the full fee for accepted applicants. Deposits for applicants not accepted will be returned.
