Sisters and Associates in Botswana gathered in Kanye on Sept. 19 to celebrate the feast of St. Vincent de Paul.
Twelve Associates joined the Sisters for the gathering, which offered time for prayer, reflection, and community. Father Joseph gave a presentation on Magnifica Humanitas, inviting those present to reflect on its message and its connection to their shared mission.
During Mass, the Associates renewed their commitment, reaffirming their desire to live the values of the Vincentian tradition in their daily lives and communities.
The celebration concluded with a meal and time together. A few Associates were unable to attend because of other commitments, but those present were grateful for the opportunity to celebrate St. Vincent and renew their connection with one another.
