Future and Faith United in Celebration
The Sisters of Ashirvad South community gathered for an evening with candidates and novices. Candidates are women preparing to enter religious life. Novices are Sisters in the early stage of vowed formation. The gathering provided time for conversation, shared activities, and celebration.
Coordinator Sister Aruna Kerketta welcomed everyone and opened the program. The community then exchanged Christmas greetings. Games followed, led by Sister Seema Kujur and Sister Mansuri Kujur. Sister Sonali Soren and Sister Mamta Tete supported the activities and encouraged participation.
Prizes were given to game winners, and the novices received the trophy. Each candidate and novice received a gift contributed by members of the community.
The evening concluded with a high tea that included cake, mixture, rose cookies, arsa pakoda, and lemon tea. Sisters shared responsibility for all aspects of the gathering, including preparing the space, organizing games, packing gifts, and arranging refreshments.
The gathering provided time to strengthen relationships and reflect on shared life within the Community.
