CMSM to receive $250K from Catholic University $7.1M Lilly Grant
The Catholic University of America’ School of Theology and Religious Studies has received a grant of over $7.1 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. to institute a new program that will strengthen the practical leadership skills of current and new priests, seminarians, and other pastoral leaders.
The program will also include a continuing formation institute for bishops, and collaboration with the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, six U.S. seminaries, and the Missionary Society of St. Paul the Apostle.
The Conference of Major Superiors of Men will receive $250,000 from the grant over a five year period. CMSM will be enhancing current leadership programs and developing new leadership formation programs with the funds from the grant, more details to follow.
