Community Honors MLK Jr.
On Monday, Jan. 19, Sisters of Charity Community members participated in celebrations honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In Cincinnati, S. Sally Duffy, S. Louise Lears, Justice Promoter Mackenzie Doyle, and S. Karina Montes-Ayala joined hundreds in the 51st annual MLK commemoration, marching from the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center to Music Hall. At the Motherhouse, the Poverty, Homelessness and Food Insecurity Justice Circle hosted a prayer service remembering the unsheltered, especially those who died in the past year.
