We are called to be dreamers. Where might the quiet voice of the Spirit be whispering to me God’s dream for our world? The Spirit is often in the preoccupation, in the question that doesn’t go away. Do I have the courage to allow my imagination to pursue the question the Holy Spirit is giving me today?
It can seem very risky to put a dream “out there,” to take concrete steps to realize the vision that the Spirit is placing in my heart. Yet my life till now has been precisely the preparation I need to contribute my unique piece of God’s dream for our world. God is counting on me to step forward with it! O God, today is a new opportunity to trust in your power—a power that truly will do “more than we can ask or imagine!”
