A moving and solemn tribute to all victims of Vukovar (Croatia) and the fallen defenders of the Homeland War was held this Wednesday, November 19, 2025., at the “Small House” Kindergarten.
In a quiet and deeply emotional atmosphere, children, parents, and staff lit candles together, paying heartfelt respect to those who gave their lives for the freedom of our homeland.
A prayer of gratitude for the courage of the defenders was led in front of the kindergarten by parish priest p. Davor Lukačević, CPPS. The prayer also invoked eternal light and peace for their souls.
During the gathering, donations were collected and presented to the association “A Dad is the Dad” in Croatia, which selflessly supports families and children facing difficult life circumstances.
Through the gentle glow of candles and united in prayer, everyone present expressed profound respect for the fallen defenders—praying that their souls may rest in everlasting peace.
