Nazareth Academy, Mokama, celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2026, with enthusiasm, promoting awareness about protecting the environment. The program began with a special assembly highlighting the importance of caring for the Earth.

Students came to school dressed in green attire, adding color and spirit to the celebration. Theme-based bulletin board displays were showcased across the campus. Students actively participated in essay writing, speeches, poetry, slogans and poster-making activities centered on environmental conservation. A meaningful skit titled “Halla Bol” focused on environmental awareness and action, while another presentation on “Save the Ganges River” emphasized the need to protect rivers and keep water sources clean.

Students were encouraged to plant trees, reduce plastic use, conserve water and keep their surroundings clean. The celebration inspired them to become responsible caretakers of the planet.
