I need Your help in a world that needs me,

I need Your hands, Your voice, Your love.

I need Your hands so strong and tender

to wipe the tears of those who sorrow.

To feed the poor and clothe the homeless,

to calm the fears with hope tomorrow.

I need Your voice so firm and vibrant

to teach the child my love and care,

to rid the world of hate and violence,

to bring back peace and end despair.

I need a love that’s undivided,

to give the light that all can see.

So You and I can make a difference,

If You but give Your life to me.
