My name is Joseph.

Saint Joseph, a saint of obedient silence, did not preach, did not write books, nor did he leave extraordinary speeches.

He didn’t want to become the protagonist, so he listened to God and acted. Today, in a world full of digital noise, the invitation is to listen more and discuss less. Following his example, we must be willing to obey God, without any negotiation between his will and ours (conversion), to be Christians and missionaries capable of sanctifying what is common to us (work).

May our penance involve fulfilling, doing well, with love for our daily duties. In a context of persecution, of the law of force, Saint Joseph protected the Holy Family without violence, courageously.

We are called to protect our charism, our faith, our family, the vulnerable with the same serenity. We do not need to have all the answers beforehand, but rather the confidence. Let our holiness grow in the hidden, in everyday life, in humility.

Saint Joseph, pray for us, and for all “Josephs”!
