LIFE’s senior support group in Belize gathered at Swift Hall on Thursday, July 23, for a morning of practical education, recreation and fellowship.
Attorney Erin Quiros led an informative session on wills and estate planning, explaining important legal considerations and answering questions from participants. The open conversation gave seniors an opportunity to seek clarity and better understand how thoughtful planning can protect their wishes and provide peace of mind for their families.
LIFE extends its sincere thanks to Quiros for sharing her time and knowledge with the group.
Following the presentation, participants enjoyed several rounds of BINGO and a lunch of burgers and chips, followed by bread pudding for dessert. Seniors celebrating birthdays in July were recognized with individual birthday cakes and handmade cards.
The gathering reflected LIFE’s mission — Living Independently in Full Existence — by supporting the dignity, well-being and companionship of older adults in Belize City.
Thank you to the LIFE staff members whose care and planning made the morning possible.
