MSJU Celebrates Commencement
Sisters of Charity President Monica Gundler served as the 2026 commencement speaker for Mount St. Joseph University’s commencement exercises on May 9, 2026. In addition, S. Tricia Cruise, a member of the Mount’s Board of Trustees, offered the closing prayer. In the closing moments of her address, S. Monica encouraged graduates to go forward and “make the world a little kinder.” She urged graduates to listen fully, show up when it matters, and treat others with dignity – especially when no one is watching.
