#SisterSpeak and Prayer Service to Highlight Ministries of Women Religious During National Catholic Sisters Week

Five Catholic organizations collaborated to create online video series and host event dedicated to celebrating the diverse and inspiring ministries of Catholic sisters

(Chicago, IL) This year, the Religious Formation Conference (RFC) is celebrating National Catholic Sisters Week (NCSW) by promoting a collaborative series of video interviews called #SisterSpeak which highlight sisters in diverse ministries and communities. National Religious Vocation Conference, Giving Voice, Communicators for Women Religious, and the Center for the Study of Consecrated Life all partnered with the RFC to produce the project, which will also be promoted during a prayer service at Catholic Theological Union on March 13.

The series of videos, titled #SisterSpeak, highlights six sisters who illuminate the values and missions their vowed lives embody. Each day during National Catholic Sisters Week, the five organizations will release a new video on their social media pages. The RFC will also share the videos via their website at relforcon.org

#SisterSpeak will highlight Sister Maria Cimperman, RSCJ; Sister Adriana Calzada, CCVI (in Spanish); Sister Kelly Moline, OP; Sister Gerardine Doherty, OLSH; and Sister Ellen Dauwer, SC.

RFC staff are excited to celebrate National Catholic Sisters Week with this series of inspiring videos and the opportunity to pray with others at Catholic Theological Union.
