Constitutions Engagement Committee Zoom Gathering – April 25: The Constitutions Engagement Committee will be having a Congregation-wide Zoom gathering for Sisters on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (Nazareth); 6:30 p.m. (India); 6:45 p.m. (Nepal); 7:00 a.m. (Belize); 3:00 p.m. (Botswana); 4:00 p.m. (Kenya). The gathering is expected to last no longer than one hour. If you are unable to attend on April 25, please send any comments you may have on Phase One to Jackie Smith by Monday, April 20, 2026.
Corporate Voice: Individuals are invited to join Pope Leo XIV on Saturday, April 11, in a prayer vigil for peace to “convert to the Peace of Christ. Let us make heard the cry for peace that springs from the heart.” The prayer vigil will take place at noon EDT.
Grand Opening – April 10: The Nelson County Black Citizens Arts Council will host the grand opening of the new Bowman Cherry Center on April 10 at 5 p.m. in Bardstown, Kentucky. Built between 1905 and 1923 as the first public school for Black children in Nelson County, the site has been rebuilt after years of deterioration. The Center will reopen to offer programs in arts, education, technology, and local history. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth were honored to support this rebuild. Community members are invited to celebrate and take part in its renewed mission.
Charity Federation – April 13-14: The Sisters of Charity Federation is hosting a virtual orientation to better understand how the Federation collaborates at the United Nations with other NGOs, Member States, and UN Agencies. This will be both informative and inspirational, with time for dialogue as a community. The dates are April 13 (7-8:30 p.m. EST) or April 14 (10-11:30 a.m. EST). Climate Change Zoom – April 16: The Office of Ecological Sustainability invites the congregation to attend an online presentation on April 16, 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 am (Nazareth); 7:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. (India); 7:45 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. (Nepal); 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 pm (Botswana); 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Kenya); 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. (Belize). Marianist Sister Leanne Jablonski, PhD, is a climate change plant ecologist and educator in Dayton, Ohio. She directs the Marianist Environmental Education Center (MEEC) and is on the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Creation Care/Laudato Si’ teams. She was named among the top five USA Laudato Si’ Champions by the Catholic Climate Covenant. Dr. Jablonski will be speaking about what SCNs can expect from climate change in the regions where we live and how we can develop climate resiliency. The Zoom link to attend the presentation is here. Run with a Mission: The Nazareth 5K will take place Saturday, May 16, at 8 a.m. This year’s theme, Peace, Love, and Tie-Dye, will bring a fun, colorful atmosphere for runners and families.
- Sisters who plan to attend and would like a tie-dye shirt should notify Sister Services by April 16 with their shirt size. Those who would like to cheer along the route should respond by May 1. Signs and pom-poms will be provided.
- Employees are encouraged to participate. Registration is free, and participants will receive a tie-dye shirt. Register online or pick up a form at OMA.

Super Raffle: Tickets for the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Super Raffle are now available. The grand prize is $20,000! Only 3,000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held on July 10, 2026, at 1 p.m., live from Nazareth, Kentucky.
