Pope Leo XIV spoke with Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II for the occasion of the Day of Coptic-Catholic Friendship and reaffirmed their shared responsibility to proclaim the Gospel and promote peace, and encouraged both Churches to continue their journey together toward full communion.
