RFC Holds May Board Meeting

Board Executive Committee

The Religious Formation Conference held its National Board Meeting May 6-8, 2018 at Catholic Theological Union.

The Board welcomed and oriented six new members. The group gathered for liturgy and prayer each day.

  • Minutes of the November 2017 Board meeting were approved.
  • Reports to the Board included those of the: Executive Director, Program Director, Congress Planning Committee, Governance Committee, and Finance Committee. An update on the Strategic Plan was also given.
  • Other topics of discussion included: 2019 Congress planning, membership, programming innovation, the Together program, communication and marketing enhancements, grants, and financial sustainability.
  • The Board evaluated participant performance and Board effectiveness. It also completed the yearly review of the Executive Director.
  • Prayer leaders and dates were determined for future meetings.
