The first preparatory workshop for the 2027 Province Assembly was held Aug. 16-17, 2026, in Patna. It brought together 62 sisters, primarily coordinators from communities across the province. Participants also included sisters from Shalom, the Provincial House, Arunodaya and B Block.
Facilitated by Sister Noela D’Souza, MCJ, the two-day gathering became more than preparation for the assembly, scheduled for Feb. 21-28, 2027. It offered participants an opportunity to rediscover the spirit that unites the province. The sessions created a sacred space for spiritual renewal, greater self-awareness and attentive listening to one another.
