Sister Eileen (Patrick Ellen) Healy, BVM, 90, of Mount Carmel Bluffs, Dubuque, Iowa, died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

Visitation, Sharing of Memories, and Mass of Christian Burial were held on Friday, Feb. 13, in the Mary Frances Clarke Chapel at Mount Carmel Bluffs. Burial was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Sister Eileen served the congregation as assistant administrator and pastoral care minister at the Motherhouse in Dubuque, Iowa. In San Francisco, she ministered as elementary principal and teacher at St. Paul, and teacher at St. Philip and St. Finn Barr. She was elementary principal at St. John and Christ the King in Seattle. She served as an elementary teacher at St. Agatha in Chicago; St. Cecilia in Portland, Ore.; and St. Augustine in Memphis, Tenn.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1935, in San Francisco to Patrick and Mary (Scannell) Healy. She entered the BVM congregation on Sept. 8, 1952, from St. Paul Parish, San Francisco. She professed first vows on March 19, 1955, and final vows on July 16, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Nora (Dan) Twomey, Daniel (Josephine) Healy, Anne (Patrick) Young, and William Healy. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 73 years.
