Sister Nancy (Dorothy Mary) Feldman, BVM, 87, of Mount Carmel Bluffs, Dubuque, Iowa, died Monday, June 8, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9-9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the Mary Frances Clarke Chapel at Mount Carmel Bluffs. Sharing of Memories will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial is in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Sister Nancy ministered as a nurse at Marian Hall in Dubuque. She served as a nurse and an assistant epidemiologist in Evanston, Ill., and was coordinator of health care resources for BVM sisters in the greater Chicago area.

She was born June 19, 1938, in Dubuque, to Aloysius and Dorothy (Hayes) Feldman. She entered the BVM congregation Aug. 2, 1957, from St. Patrick Parish in Dubuque. She professed first vows on Feb. 3, 1960, and final vows on July 16, 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruth (Bill) Burdt, a brother William (Kathleen) Feldman., and a brother-in-law John Freund. She is survived by sisters Donna Freund, Dubuque; Mary Kathryn Feldman and Helen McKain, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces; nephews; and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 68 years.
